Ernest (Ernie) J. Carnevale Jr.

President/Chief Executive Officer

Ernie is in his 13th year as President/CEO of Blue Ridge Hospice. A long-time resident of Leesburg, Ernie has accumulated over 30 years as a health care administrator. Ernie received his Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Minnesota and earned his Board Certification from the American College of Healthcare Executives. Ernie also is an adjunct professor at Shenandoah University in the School of Business.

His community activities include Past President of the Rotary Club of Leesburg, and President of the Perry Winston Scholarship Fund. He is past board member for the Loudoun Community Free Clinic, Loudoun Abused Women’s Shelter and acts with local community theatre companies.

Ernie just celebrated 39 years of marriage to his wife, Patti who works as a private family therapist in Loudoun County and very proud of his 25 year old son, Ben, who is living and working in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

Board Of Directors

Blue Ridge Hospice is honored to have a dedicated Board of Directors to provide strategic guidance to our organization. Our Board is composed of area residents, who represent various aspects of the community as well as a cross-section of the business sector. Board members serve a six-year term.
