About The Monarch Society

One way of contributing to Blue Ridge Hospice is through our planned giving program. Planned gifts are donations that generally require some measure of preparation before making the gift.

Planned gifts may take many forms:

Bequests allow you to defer a gift until after your lifetime through your Last Will & Testament, or your Revocable Living Trust.

Gifts of Securities allow you to contribute long-term appreciation of stocks, bonds, or mutual funds.

Gifts of Life Insurance allow you to contribute a life insurance policy you no longer need by transferring the policy, or by making Blue Ridge Hospice the beneficiary.

Retirement Plans allow you to name Blue Ridge Hospice as the beneficiary of the remainder of the assets after your lifetime.

Gifts of Real Estate allow you to make a gift of an asset no longer needed; hence minimizing or avoiding potential capital gain.

Charitable Remainder Trusts allow you to utilize the income for your life, with the remainder passing to Blue Ridge Hospice following your death.

Charitable Lead Trusts provide Blue Ridge Hospice with a fixed income for a specified period, with the remainder passing to your heirs.
