Rick was raised in Northern Virginia and has been with Blue Ridge Hospice for two years. When he started, we had two trucks, one of which was used for storage. There were two full-time employees and one volunteer handling warehouse needs, to include deliveries, pick-ups, etc. Rick now has five full-time employees, six trucks, and a 15,000 square foot warehouse. Rick resides in Frederick County with his two daughters.

Hospice Goes Green!
In 2009, Blue Ridge Hospice helped do their share for the environment by “going green”.
We were able to recycle:

- 7000 pounds of plastics,
- 300 pounds of aluminum,
- 200 pounds of brass and copper
- 400 pounds of stainless steel
- 2 000 pounds of steel
- 21,000 pounds of books
