Volunteer Training

Training Requirements: Administrative volunteers are required to attend a 2-hour office orientation. Patient/Family Support Volunteers are required to take an 18-hour training course and attend a 2-hour orientation at the Hospice facility. Patient Care Volunteer training requirements include the Patient/Family Support Training plus an additional 4-hour in-service.

Patient/Family Support Volunteers assist patients and their families by providing respite, running errands, and providing emotional support and companionship.
